Kunlun Holy Spring
Kunlun Holy Spring, also known as Naij Tal Spring, is located on the north bank of the Kunlun River along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway. The spring comes from meltwater 4,000m above sea level. After a long period of underground runoff, it was blocked by an east-west pressure-torsional fault at the north bank of Kunlun River and then rose up. The groundwater circulation cycle is long and the water is pretty clear. Although the spring is 3,540m above sea level, it is not frozen in four seasons. The spring has a large and stable quantity, which could reach 224.7L/s, with the mineralization degree less than 0.5g/L. It contains the microelements which are beneficial to human body, and is praised as "sweet dew in ice mountain".
